Rules & Standards: Athletes and Adults: We are a competitive club team, so we only guarantee a spot on the team for one year. What makes us different as a Foundation organization is that our expectations go beyond the basketball court.
Therefore, tryouts will be held annually to determine if an athlete is keeping up with the C. Frye Bull Dog standards athletically, scholastically, and socially by participating in our Cross Train Your Life program, volunteer and fundraising events, and acting respectfully and responsibly on and off the court.
We conduct comprehensive reviews regularly, so there is clear communication about players' standings as they progress through our system, but they will be expected to try out each season.
Below are all forms/info we need completed and submitted from each family as well as a helpful guide. Click to open a PDF of each document.
Also, we strongly recommend that you spend time on the NCAA website. There is a wealth of valuable information and we utilize and follow their materials.
The C. Frye Bull Dogs requires its members to first and foremost uphold a standard of respect: Respect for Life. Respect for Others. Respect for Self.
Members are committed to continuously strive for their personal best both on and off the court, and to inspire those around them to do the same. Members are to be great fans of basketball; striving students; considerate people; and appreciators of good humor.
Members are to encourage like-minded people to smile, laugh, work hard, play hard, make healthy choices and uphold Bull Dogs standards.
With the exception of flagrant behavior, which is grounds for immediate dismissal, the Bull Dogs have a three-strike policy according to the terms below:
• Parents are expected to pay for their child's uniform and pay the monthly fees on a timely basis.
•
Members must be on time to all practices and events. Otherwise, the coach must be notified ahead of time.
• Players are expected to look presentable at tournaments, ie, no hats or hoods worn inside.
• Players and parents are expected to uphold the standards of the organization on and off court, at practice, and on the road at tournaments.
• Players must respond when the whistle blows.

• Any physical fighting will not be tolerated and will result in automatic dismissal.
• Verbal insults, trash talking, or arguing between players will not be tolerated.
