I don't know where it's gonna be yet and don't know what month, but I feel like it will be the best idea and way for kids and parents and everyone in the community to get out and have a great day for a good cause in Portland.

So let me know how you feel about it, where I should have it, and if you had to have one thing there (food, beer, roller coaster, etc.) let me know. I want my kickball day to be the best day in Portland every year.

No matter what happens on or off the basketball court, we literally all have good lives.

This year me and my fiancé really wanted to give back and help someone have a great Christmas because knowing we helped make a difference for others will make our Christmas that much better. We personally have a family that we're giving to and my Foundation is helping some charities and other families.

I want to encourage you to donate whatever you can. If you want to contribute - toys, clothes, money, canned goods -- whatever you can spare, we'll make sure they get to people who it will really mean something to. You can send stuff to my Foundation office:

I got to work with some great kids. We had one in Portland this year, too, and I'm planning on doing both again next summer.

My grade-school coach, Coach Smith, is leading it.

My agent, Rob Pelinka, is coming in for the day to interact with everyone and answer questions.

Jody Stern, who is a certified Stott Pilates teacher and worked as the stretching coach for the LA Clippers is going to get everyone warmed up and ready for a day of tough drills.

Also, Art Dye, who runs the Arizona Stars basketball program will be there.

And, of course, I will be there working with each kid personally.

So, here's a unique opportunity -- especially for Portland-based companies (cuz I love to support this town!):

I am putting on my first C. Frye Celebrity Golf Tournament in Phoenix on Friday, June 27th to raise money for three chapters of the National MS Society and my own Foundation. We're going to do an auction and about 15 friends and colleagues are coming in at their own expense to be the celebs and support the event, so I'd like to give them gift bags for their time and effort.

If any of you want to send your stuff that you think is appropriate for either of those things, you'll get a chance to promote yourself to a lot of great people in a new market while doing something cool for my fundraiser.
