Inglorious Basterds

Movie of the summer in my opinion.

I'm a Tarantino fan for life. Everything he does (almost) I dig it. This movie was no exception. It is really a bit graphic at times but, no lie, so is life. The one thing I really can't get enough of is the great dialogue. The conversation between characters is what makes the movie, what molds the storyline, what draws me in. The action and craziness gives me a cherry on top. Go see it buy it on DVD. It's a classic.

  1. Hey Channing!! Have fun this year buddy. Saw that Coach Gentry is talking about you starting, FINALLY!!! Go out there and prove him right man. We’re all still pulling for you up in P-Town. Keep it weird man!

  2. Glad to hear that you are getting the nod at starting Center. You absolutely deserve it. You are a class act. I hope you return to the dominant player that we saw at the end of the 2008 season (and deserved to see throughout the 2009 season.)

Best of luck (except against the Blazers),

  3. I agree this movie was really great. Loved it from beginning to end. Even though it was long it flew by. So much tension throughout.

Have you seen District 9? That is in a battle with Inglorious Basterds for my fave of the summer.

I’m a NY Knicks fan who loved how hard you worked on the jumper from the top of the key back in the day. Good luck this season.

  4. Channing -

i really appreciated your comments on “Inglorious Basterds ” – Tarantino is truly a revolutionary. The opening scene was truly one of the most well written and suspense filled pieces ever put together.

I have been a big fan of yours since you came to NY at the beginning of your career. You should really check out this new site called http://www.lockerblogger.com – its a sports focused social media site that allows its members “fans” to associate directly with professional athletes. We already have a wide range of “pro’s” involved from Blake Griffin to Allan Houston. Would love for you to check it out – think it could be a good look for you. Further, there is a big Knicks fan contingency – who really appreciated the work you put in when you were in the big apple. It really offers a lot of oppertunities to expand your fan base and propmote your own website/blog.

    Holla at us….

  5. glad to see you are up and blogging again – again, good luck except against the Blazers. Before you beat us, think about how much joy the Fire on the Mountain folk brought you and how much it hurts them when the PTB lose

  6. Channing,

    Rip City still misses you.

Once you put on the Black and Red, we never forget you.

    Best of luck this season.

  7. Really loved this film. Tarrantino still has it.
