The Twitter Thing
So, since everyone is using Twitter these days, I was going to be different and put up some video blogs of stuff I've been doing throughout the year. I'll start posting those and hopefully you'll enjoy them.
But I have had some people ask if I use Twitter, so here's the deal. If I get 26,000 people to vote Yes for me to tweet, I'll start doing it. And, if more people vote No, I won't.
So let me know what you think.

Tweeting’s fun, gives you a place to put links and quips you wouldn’t think are really worthy to take up a whole blog post and send them out.
I was really dubious of starting it, but now I quite like wasting time on it.

I vote no, I like the mystery of not knowing everything you do. In a non creepy way

Don’t Twitter. Everybody twitters. Start a TV show on cable access, or start a show that you broadcast on your blog. That would be cool. You could sit behind a desk and interview local guests and have a band, that doesn’t actually play music, but plays rock band.

dude twiittiny is very cool….everyone wants to know what the frizzle is doing…

My vote is DON’T do it! The reason why I like you, is because you are diffrent from all the other NBA players,.. you seem more like “US”… If you give into the Popularity of Twitter, it makes me think you are FOLLOWING a FAD, and not being YOU.

I agree with KD. Twitter is a dumb fad, I hope it’s over within the next year. Bunch of 40 something moms that like to pretend they’re “with it”. 140 character limit is BS, you can’t say anything meaningful with that.
Keep blogging, you’ve said some stuff here that has made me laugh more than any other NBA player.

Channing, I saw you leaving the Sherwood theater last night. What did you see? Was it any good?

Never twitter, don’t tweet, twat, or twitch. It’s the most useless thing I’ve ever heard of in my life. Although I thought it might be cool to start a fictional one.

It depends what you are going to use it for. I voted yes because I find it really helpful in reaching out to prospective customer’s, or fans in your case.
It’s just another way to stay in touch with the people who care for and/or admire you.

I just hope you give the Cavaliers a thought because I think people really don’t understand how great a player you are and how big the upside to your game really is.I can see the Cavs winning a championship with someone of your talent.I also just jumped on tweeter and it’s alright iI suppose.

Your deal sucks. 26,000 people?
I have been trying to get you on twitter for far too long. It is like Myspace, Facebook and all the others. You will eventually try it – and knowing your attention span and passion for text messaging you will probably embrace it like Milton.
Do it.
PS: The new blog looks nice.

I have no doubt that many here in Portland miss you, and wish you the best. I missed the end of the game tonight, but we were all cheering for you guys. I hope you and the misses are swell & doing well in the city of suns. The Devils gang of pdx sends their Greetings, and hope to see you & the misses on your next visit. You are no doubt a great player, but most importantly friendly, chill as hell and seem pretty down to earth. Always great to see you, and thanks for the pro-pleasant experience. Keep on a rockin-

Channing, congratulations on your solid game yesterday. As a psychotherapist with a lot of experience using visualization, I would like to respectfully suggest that you visualize yourself making 3 point shots from all locations on the court for 10-15 minutes at a time, three times a day, in a relaxed state, with your eyes closed. So to prepare for the next game at the Laker’s, vividly imagine yourself in Staple’s center, hearing the sounds of the Laker’s crowd, feeling the wooden floor boards beneath your feet, and watching yourself swishing 3 point shots from every direction. Professional and Olympic athletes in many sports have successfully used this technique for many years. Please give it a try.
