Mall Cop
Ok, I went into this movie basically saying 3 things:
1. I have no expectations for it because I haven't heard anything good about it.
2. It's made by Happy Madison Productions so basically it's a group of just funny people, so how bad can it be?
3. The previews hit me with a huge upfake.
Basically the movie was crap but I like the people that were in it so I'm gonna say it was ok. Don't see it in the movies, wait for DVD or HBO and other than that I'm eventually gonna see some of the good movies like Gran Torino or Slum Dog Millionaire.

Ugg, Mall Cop. My expectations were really low for this one, but I was in the mood for a comedy and the previews did look funny. And I have to admit I did laugh several times, but I got really tired of the movie making fun of people just because they are fat. Make fun of Blart’s size, but don’t keep dragging overweight people into it to poke fun at them. The movie would have been so much better had they not featured the ridiculous caper for the last hour, that just stunk up the joint. I could have watched Blart interact with people in the mall for 90 minutes and laughed the whole time. Maybe it should have been a TV show.
Here’s another couple of movies to see Channing: Let the Right One In and Man on a Wire. Vampires and egotistical French daredevils. Both really good flicks, can’t go wrong.

Hahah, Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
When I saw the previews for this, I instantly knew it was going to be a bust. Kevin James is alright in The King of Queens, but I would not be able to stand that humor for an hour and a half. The trailer made this look like a movie for small children. Plus, his last name is pretty funny. Blart. Hah.
P.S. Channing Frye has a bigger stroke than Ray Allen. Yup, I said it.

definitely check out Slumdog Millionaire. For an idie-film it is uncharacteristically action-pacted.
Kind of long though. Make a night out it.

Being from “The Old School”, today’s humor is pretty much lost on me.
A few years ago, Samuel L. Jackson & Eugene Levy made a movie called “The Man”. I’ve watched it several times and laughed just as hard each time. My all time favorite Comedy is Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis in “The Out of Towners”
Also, I peeped “Righteous Kill” last week and it was a “5 Fryer” IMHO. Looking forward to catching Clint in Gran Torino too.

Hey, when are you going to answer basketball questions again? Because I’m wondering 2 things about basketball. 1, what do you think of coach McMillan? Is he a good coach? is the defense he teaches you really to switch all the time? Because it seems he doesn’t know how to effectively use our players (you included) and the defense we play is atrocious. He says you guys don’t switch or are told not to switch but it happens like 80% of the time. Is that what he teaches? Overall just what do you think of him as a coach? Does he compare to Lute Olson?
And 2nd, why do we not play you? I get so sick of watching Travis run around and throw crap shots up and play horrible defense (and he’s takin your friggin minutes at 4 and keeps gettin his asskicked by better 4’s). Are you in Nate’s doghouse or something? Because I honestly think you are our best backup PF and we need you to win, but Nate almost refuses to play you.

I thought “MALL COP” was good!! BUT ANYWAYS, how many games are going to go by that YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PLAY???? My family is BROKEN HEARTED that we have NOT seen you play!!!! My 7 year old ONLY watches BLAZER games that YOU play in, and you have NOT played in a LONG TIME, which in turn means my SON has not watched!

So that was a pretty pathetic performance by your teammates in OKC. I hope you gave them and McMillan a whole bunch of crap because they deserve it. WTF is your coach doing going to small ball when OKC struggles with size? I figured for sure we’d see a lineup of Greg, LaMarcus and You at one point just to exploit that size advantage. Instead, your retard of a coach goes small.
Channing, do you respect Nate McMillan as a head coach? I know he did some good things with the Olympic team, but cmon who couldn’t. It just seems as though Nate has lost a lot of your teams respect, because I know he’s lost fan’s respect.
Hope you get traded man because what Nate is doing just keeping you on the bench is a joke. He is a joke of a coach, and I hope we get rid of him and keep you. Good luck, hopefully you find some playing time, probably on another team though. Tell McMillan the fans think he sucks. Later.

OK, Portland CFRYE FANS! The time is now, we need to hit the boards!! Why is FRYE on the bench? I’m on the road and I’m asked that question all the time. How could they not develop his game and style of play ????? How could they not use Frye! I’ve seen players go 9 of 22 on our team and still be in the game. Frye can’t go 2 of 1 before he’s yanked. And now he’s not even on the court? He worked out hard in Portland during the off season to improve his game. Players are given a chance to get in the game, and get the flow of the game. Frye has done all the right things for this team on and off the court. We talked for years about the JAIL BLAZERS! Well, it goes both ways! They have FRYE IN JAIL! CFrye fans, its time to hit the boards and let folks know we want FRYE to get some playing time! I’m a season ticket holder, next year maybe not!
