I have a boot, a sneaker, a slipper, anything, that guy had great aim. Could you image, what was going thru his mind, as a reporter to actually take off both shoes in record time. My wife only takes off her shoes that fast when she’s at Saks during the holiday shoe sale!! One thing is true, he sure is good at DUCKING.
The 7 most feared words in the English Language: “I, George Walker Bush, do Solemnly Swear”.
I’m gonna hafta agree with DBaller, he’s been DUCKING pretty much all of his life. Channing can probably attest to the fact that “Practice makes perfect”.
oh throwing shoes is the least that should be done to him… the audacity to say that he doesn’t know what the man’s issue with him was means he deserves to have some sense smacked into his head. A true president/leader would have had the diplomacy to acknowledge that this man’s country has been through hell and his people have suffered and he can understand his frustration. This president is no leader and is most definitely a coward.
There isn’t a person living in the U.S. that has not thought about or dreamed about doing exactly what this man did. Even the folks in the room waited until he chucked the second one before anyone even grabbed him. Waiting to see if he had better aim. I laughed so hard watching this that i cried, had tears rolling down my face, because i finally know exactly what my dream looked like in real life. Classic.
Hey Nicole… Oh yes you can throw a shoe at the president. In fact, that dude threw two! W has some quick reflexes though. But man, with all the kids who’ve been killed and all the mayhem in Iraq, all the anger, and we all KNOW they falsified evidence to attack Iraq, etc. Torture, Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib, and on and on. People in Iraq are PISSED, so if W is gonna go on his little “Whoops, my bad” Victory Lap, he should be prepared to face some shoe throwing. If that’s all he gets, he’s lucky, because he deserves a lot worse. Jail, at the very least.
Channing, sucks you got benched man. You just need to get back to the basics man. Go down low and beat the crap out of people for boards. I think you’re freakin awesome and want you to stay in Portland for a long time. But you just need to get back to bangin for the ball homie. Good luck, and I hope you beat Ike out for that spot soon.
I’d like to see that shoe-throwing turd show some real courage and throw his shoes at an Arab dictator. At the very least he’d get his %&@# chopped off.
C’mon Salmondave, just because ONE person commented in favor of Bush, you think it isn’t classy? But wait, wishing harm on the US president is classy right? The fact is, he is our president and deserves respect. You all need to open your eyes. Most of you just believe the media’s representation of Iraq, doesn’t mean it’s true. The US presence in Iraq has done a lot of good, just ask most soldiers who have returned. Most of them want to go back and finish the job because they have seen it with their own eyes.

you can’t throw shoes at the president, for the simple reason that he is the president. even if it is a little bit funny.
