Here’s the thing. Teams use to murder Jordan. The Pistons and the Knicks use to knock him down on every drive. After Oakley left the Bulls, Jordan had no “Enforcer” type. So every time he drove to the hoop, he knew he could get clocked AND no one would defend him.

With all the rule changes since Jordan’s time, Kobe has a physically easier time scoring. He knows that Rodman or Ewing aren’t going to commit assault on him when he drives to the hoop. He may get fouled; very true. But if Kobe knew he was going to get his clock cleaned, do you think he’s driving? I doubt it.

Thus Jordan is better.

we’ve easily sold out 95% this year and last before the season started. This is without Kobe. We would have to give up nearly everyone on our squad just to get kobe’s salary to match.

Anyone would want a kobe on there team whether they admit it or not, but not at the sake of your whole team.

I don’t think Jordan was the best scorer of all time, probably the best all around player ever though.

The league now, probably has more talented/athletic players than in jordan’s day, but back then there were a lot less rules, therefore much harder to play I think.

Wow, that’s like asking who is the better Frye, Channing or Charlie? Actually, I prefer Frye’s Electronics over both. They have a Starbucks and nice selection of discount DVD’s. Sorry Channing.

Will Blazer fans still hate Kobe if he becomes a TrailBlazer next year? I doubt it. In fact, if that was to happen I would bet that the Rose Garden would sell out 95% of home games, before the season even started.

I don’t like Kobe but if we’re comparing primes, Jordan takes it.
