The Saw I should’ve never seen

So, I've finally broken my streak of not going to the movies for about three months...I wish I'd kept that streak going. I went to see Saw V.

It was a Sunday night. We were bored and had watched the Exorcist so I was in the mood to see something else that was creepy, maybe gory -- I don't know what I was thinking.

Let me tell you. I'm going to tell you about this movie in one word:

Not only was the acting worse than Lifetime TV rejects, the story was more complicated than a Rubik's cube. In parts of the movie, they'd just go there for no reason - like what happened to the stupid box that the killer gave to his ex-wife? What was in it? Also, what kind of contraptions were those? Some were really elaborate and far-fetched.

Other than the good popcorn, we were laughing most of the time about how bad it was and talking, trying to figure out what was going on. I recommend this movie for NO ONE. Please don't waste your money. My girlfriend walked out and went to High School Musical 3 because the movie was that bad.

This is on the list of all-time worst movies, along with Wicker Man, Crank, In the Name of the King, and Wall-E.

For the first time, I am giving NO fries but a big pile of with some fry sauce.

  1. Wall-E doesn’t belong with those other crap movies. Other than that, I’d agree with the other movies and Saw V. I stopped watching Saw after the second one and I’m glad I did.

  2. Hey man I know that you took up boxing this summer and I was wondering if you could help me find a coach. Im 15 years old and I’ve been trying to find a good coach, but I haven’t been able to find any. If you know any coach who could give lessons please send me a link of his website or some contact information to my email. I’d be able to pay top dollar if he’s good. Thanks a lot, and G.O. Blazers.

  3. Channing, great post. I loved the use of pictures. I hope that’s not your garbage can in the picture, cause I’m pretty sure that’s a Carl’s Jr. wrapper in there. Fast food man? Come on. That stuff’s gonna turn your stomach into stone.

  4. Comon frizzle, stop ragging on wall-e. its one of the best reviewed movies of the year and one of my all time animated faves. such a hater. lol

  5. Totally OT… but did you all see the poll on Blazer’s Edge today? Vote for which Blazer would make the best President. Frye is neck and neck with Roy in winning this popularity contest.

  6. I did vote for Channing, Heather! He’s got the way with words that most politicians dream of!

Channing…I didn’t think Saw V was that horrendous! It was right on par with the first 4. Which doesn’t make it good by any means, but definitely not worth much more than the matinee price.

  7. “We have to try to build blocks of goodness”

    ???

  8. Wall-E is the most gangsta movie of all time. Stop hating on Pixar.

  9. Come on, I can understand wicker man is just crap.

    but nah, wall-e is a good film…

and saw was great until part 4 too.

  10. Hey man. I went to St. Mary’s with you. You used to kick it in the back of coach lopez’s class during math when i was a freshman and you were a senior. You guys took state that year.

Wall-E tried to be contemporary with its global warming apocalypse. I think it fell short, but it did attempt some pretty ambitious statements about our society. And Crank had its moments. I think you are dead on about In the name of the king though, it was just god awful.

Im glad to know saw 5 wasn’t worth the price of gas to drive to the theater though. I wonder when they will give up on these movies? the first one was interesting but its been all down hill since then.

Anyway, i saw you at U.S. Airways last Saturday, good work out there. Keep it coming!

  11. You should really moderate the comments. Maybe You could explain what was your problem with Wall-e. I think it’s one of the best movies of the year so far. I mean I respect your opinion but I would like to get some arguments:)

  12. Channing… it would appear Gian just outted you for being in freshman math as a senior… any response?
