NCAA Kudos

Ok, the NCAA final game was one of the best college basketball games I've ever watched in my life. Usually I only watch UofA for obvious reasons (UofA is the best school in the history of schools) but I couldn’t turn it off even though I think a rerun of Rock of Love was on. LOL.

But seriously, I know that both schools worked so hard and I never got the opportunity to make it to the final game, which I get pissed and almost teary-eyed everytime I think about it. But I definitely tip my hat to those teams because they definitely were the best two teams in college basketball.

  1. memphis asked to loose that game… got only 1 of 5 FTs in the last minutes of regulation.

  2. Just remember, you can say Arizona took KU to overtime in the phog this year!

  3. Even though you didn’t get to the finals in college, you rock now though. What a great end of season you had. WE were impressed!

  4. At least the Wildcats got beat by a very fine Fighting Illini team. Your team played great but an overtime loss always hurts. It still was a good season. Those experiences also make for an interesting life – like they say “character building.”

Have a relaxing summer. Can’t wait to see you play this fall.
You’re a big part of a classy organization. What a blessing!

  5. Lu! Indeed that was the best game ever (I went to school in Champaign).
Here’s the youtube of the final minutes of the game:

There’s a clip where Channing busts a deep two w/ six min. left and was pissin me off.
I couldn’t stand the dude until the game was over!

  6. Hey HaiMai, I’m a U of I grad, too. Enjoyed my time in C-U. Thanks for the youtube clip. Channing was making life tough for Dee Brown and Dee Williams that game. Go Illini and Go Blazers!
