My dog, Milton…and other ugly dogs
A lot of my boys have brand new English Bulldog puppies. I showed them a picture of my puppy who's almost a year old now; Milton is his name. I emailed it to everyone and the responses I got back really hurt my feelings.
This is my little boy. Yes, his left eye is crazy like the guy off Mr. Deeds sometimes. And he's tiny and he really can't exercise for more than 5 minutes, but all those things are the things that make him the tightest dog ever.

But that’s not what this blog is about. It's about ugly dogs. Everyone in Portland has a dog. If they don’t, they did, or they will, or they have a pet of some sort. It's just what Oregonians do. They have pets.
Whenever I go eat around the Pearl, people are walking around with their dogs all the time. It's hilarious to see some of these dogs dressed up, fancied up, wearing clothes. Shoot, some of the pets get better treatment than humans would at the Benson. Hey, to each their own, but what I want to know is if we can get some pictures of either the ugliest dog you can find or a picture of a dog so dressed up it should be at the Emmy awards.

Milton is adorable and you should be very proud of your baby. I can’t imagine anyone who would think that Milton is ugly. He is the cutest thing ever. Not only cute but the thing he has going with his left eye makes him look tough. Stay Strong! Whatever happened to if you don’t have anything nice to say…..

I’m guilt, have a english bulldog myself that we stand… so ladies…. he is looking for some loving:)…. I used to think “they were so ugly they are cute” but once you have been around the breed, their personality all but make up for it. We have a harley davison outfit with the hat included…lol If I can’t figure out how to send it I will.

Hey Channing. Blazers fan in Tennessee here (from Oregon originally). I just wanted to say that I notice your hustle and scrap. You are doing a good job of trying to rebound and be effective in limited minutes. I hope you stay a Blazer.
You probably read forums and web sites and such every once in a while, but remember that fans are bi-polar. They will love you when you play like you did in Denver, and then scorn you on an off night.

haha, what’s up Channing? I’m Josh, the friend of the other Josh (not McRoberts) to whom you are somewhat ‘related’ to, who you shook hands with after the Wolves game. I just recently discovered your blog and its been really cool being able to see and catch up with the non-NBA part of an athlete’s life. Keep on writing man. One day they’ll put you above Gilbert Arenas for the best blog in the NBA.
As for a dog, eh? I remember my neighbor used to have a pretty mean golden retriever (which was a surprise to me), and because he would bite people, they put a broken Darth Vader mask to cover his mouth (don’t ask me. I’m just the neighbor!). The strange things people do to their animals sometimes.
I’ll have to go outside and search for an ugly dog or something. It’s not too hard finding “creative” dog owners in this city.

I don’t even call it the “pearl District” anymore. For now on it is officially the “Pug District.” Every yuppie in that neighborhood has one of those bug eyed rats. I once saw someone crash there bike while trying to avoid running one over. A Classic Moment in my life.

Milton is very cute, I once saw a little bulldog in a doggie hoodie. I first saw him from behind in a shopping cart at Old Navy and thought it was a small child, but then I saw it’s face and it was DEF not a kid! Super cute, I am against doggie clothes though.

Something you should check out one of these days is a pug meet-up. A friend of mine who has a pug brought me to one of these events: a ton of pug owners bring their pugs to a certain park at a certain time and turn those crazy animals loose. Everyone has to tag their pug with an identifying marker since they all look the same. So each one is running around with a little bow, or a scarf, or some other colored object flapping from its collar. It’s a little whirlwind if pugs, and there’s a whole lot of snorting and wheezing that goes on. It’s one of the most amusing spectacles I’ve ever witnessed.

Hey Channing. So I think you should convince Greg to move to the South Waterfront instead of the Pearl. I think he will love the view of the city and the river. He’ll get privacy but still get city life. Also, hopefully he will lose a bet to you and have to walk Milton instead, it would be sooo convenient.

Milton looks great. We had a bulldog for 13 years. Died in August. May I ask were you got milton? Any health Problems? Does he chase skateboards or shopping carts?

he is so cute and if u think he is ugly then you are wrong have you googled ugly dogs lately i mean come on he is the cutest dog on all of the pages and frankly i would love to adopt a dog that is as cute as yours so if you are selling any dogs that look anything like him or that are bulldogs for a very reasonable price (below £1000) i will be very interested
