The car I want
I'm thinking about getting a new car: a convertible. The car that I want is a 1965 Lincoln Continental, black convertible. Suicide doors; either black or tan interior; completely refurbished.
I love that car and I want to try and get it before the end of the season so that when it starts to get a little warmer in PDX I can roll around with the top down. Maybe even ride that bad boy to the coast. So if you see one or have one, send a picture.

Check this website out http://www.nwcam.com you can find all kinds of older restored cars for sale, and most of them are in the Portland area! I hope this is helpful!

First of all I’m thrilled that you have a blog Channing! I just found out.
Second, you have superb taste. The old Lincoln is for kings and queens. In this age of “boy-toy” rice burners and SUV’s, it’s refreshing to see that someone, anyone, still appreciates an American classic. And the suicide doors are a must for the LC. My dad had a 1970 Mark III. I’ve been in love ever since my man.

Hey Channing, I’ll keep my eyes our in the far north of Portland (St. Johns). There are some great older cars on the road up here. I saw an old Delorean in front of the Ladybug Coffee Shop last week-end. Wacky. If you want a ride with character, Portland’s your town!

Whats up Channing,I have a 1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible that I am finishing the restore on now. Rebuilt 430 matching #’s car with show quality paint any color you want,it’s originally mellow yellow but we painted the engine compartment and the undercarriage black so black would look good too and it has a black convertible top with the original ivory gold leather interior which is a bit tan, the chrome is in good condition all around, I’m not a dealer,I manage a Qfc grocery store in Seattle and restore cars on the side as a hobby.
